Pistons
A piston is inserted into the cartridge after it has been loaded with fluid to ensure uniform dispensing, prevent dripping, and eliminate waste by wiping barrel walls clean as fluid is dispensed. Optimum pistons are molded from high-density polyethylene.
End caps and tip caps
*End caps and tip caps provide an airtight seal that allows you to prefill cartridges or seal partially used cartridges between shifts.
*Tip caps have a large knurled gripping surface that simplifies attachment, and a vent that prevents air from being introduced into the cartridges during installation. The gripping action of the tip cap is designed to maximize the seal and yet be easily removed by the user.
*End caps feature a precision fit and use a convenient push-button to produce a snug, air-tight seal.
