Usage
1. Preparatory work
● Inspect accessories: After obtaining the mixing nozzle, first check its appearance for any damage, ensuring that the internal mixing structures such as spirals and blades are intact and unblocked. At the same time, confirm that it is compatible with the glue bottle and glue gun to be used, and that the connection at the interface is tight, preventing glue leakage during subsequent use.
● Prepare glue: Based on the construction requirements, prepare the appropriate type and sufficient amount of two-component or multi-component glue. For example, for epoxy two-component glue used in stone bonding, pour the glue into clean and dry glue bottles respectively.
2. Install the mixing nozzle
Align the end of the mixing nozzle with the interface to the glue outlet of the glue bottle, and firmly connect them by rotating, pressing, or other means. If it has a threaded design, tighten the threads until the seal is tight; for some simple plug-in types, also make sure they are inserted in place and won't come loose easily.
3. Initial glue extrusion
After installation, gently squeeze the glue bottle to extrude a small amount of glue first. This step is crucial. Firstly, it is to expel any air that may be left in the mixing nozzle, preventing air from mixing into the glue and affecting the bonding effect. Secondly, it allows the glue to pre-wet the internal structure of the mixing nozzle, making the subsequent mixing smoother. This small amount of extruded glue can be discarded.
4. Formal use
Align the glue outlet of the mixing nozzle with the area that needs to be glued, and steadily and evenly squeeze the glue bottle. As the glue flows through the mixing nozzle, it will be fully stirred and mixed relying on the special internal structure, and then flow out evenly from the glue outlet. During the operation, pay attention to controlling the squeezing force. Excessive force may cause the glue to spray out of control, while too little force will result in slow glue output, affecting construction efficiency.
5. Cleaning after construction (if necessary)
If the same mixing nozzle will be used again in a short time, it doesn't need to be cleaned during the construction break, but place the glue outlet downward to prevent the residual glue from drying out and clogging. If the use is completed, for some washable mixing nozzles, use the corresponding solvent to flush it in reverse to remove the residual glue inside and extend its service life. For disposable mixing nozzles, simply discard them properly according to environmental protection requirements.
