    Common problems and solutions

    1. Uneven Mixing
    ● Problem Manifestation: After the glue is squeezed out from the mixing nozzle, the curing effect is unsatisfactory. The bonding area has insufficient strength, air bubbles, or partial uncured areas because the components are not fully and evenly mixed.
    ● Reasons:
    a. The internal structure of the mixing nozzle is blocked by residual glue, preventing the smooth flow and mixing of new glue.
    b. The selected mixing nozzle does not match the characteristics of the glue. For example, when high-viscosity glue is paired with a mixing nozzle with an overly small inner diameter, the materials are difficult to stir thoroughly.
    c. The force applied to squeeze the glue bottle is uneven, resulting in an unstable flow rate of the glue in the tube.
    ● Solutions:
    a. Clean the mixing nozzle regularly. After construction, use the corresponding solvent to flush it in reverse to remove the residual glue. For severely clogged nozzles, a thin wire can be used to dredge the internal diversion structure.
    b. Select an appropriate mixing nozzle specification according to the viscosity, curing speed, and other parameters of the glue. Consult the glue supplier for professional advice.
    c. Practice squeezing the glue bottle steadily and at a constant speed. Auxiliary tools can be used to maintain pressure stability. If conditions permit, a pneumatic glue gun can also be used to precisely control the glue output speed.

    2. Glue Leakage at the Interface
Problem Manifestation: Glue seeps out from the connection between the mixing nozzle, the glue bottle, and the glue gun, which not only wastes glue but also pollutes the working environment.
    ● Reasons:
    a. Frequent insertion, extraction, and squeezing at the interface cause wear of the sealing parts.
    b. After long-term use, parts such as the sealing rubber ring of the mixing nozzle become aged and deformed.
    c. Improper operation during connection, such as not tightening or inserting firmly.
    ● Solutions:
    a. Replace the worn sealing accessories, such as sealing gaskets and O-rings. Keep commonly used spare parts in stock for immediate replacement.
    b. Regularly inspect the status of the sealing parts of the mixing nozzle and replace severely aged parts in a timely manner. When storing the mixing nozzle, avoid placing it in high-temperature, high-humidity, or strong ultraviolet environments to delay aging.
    c. Standardize the installation process. According to the instructions, rotate and tighten the threaded connection, or ensure that the plug-in connection is fully in place. After installation, give it a slight tug to check its stability.

    3. Damage or Deformation of the Tube Body
Problem Manifestation: Cracks and dents appear on the mixing nozzle, and obvious deformation can be seen on its appearance. During use, there is glue leakage and normal mixing cannot be achieved.
    ● Reasons:
    a. The mixing nozzle is severely impacted by external forces during transportation and handling.
    b. The storage environment has an inappropriate temperature. High temperatures make the plastic soft, while low temperatures make it brittle.
    ● Solutions:
    a. In the transportation process, use thick packaging materials, such as foam boxes and hard cardboard boxes, and fill them with cushioning materials to avoid collisions. After receiving the goods, check the appearance of the mixing nozzle first. If there is any damage, return or exchange it immediately.
    b. Store the mixing nozzle in a suitable temperature environment, generally 15 - 30 °C is ideal. If it is used in a high-temperature workshop or a cold warehouse, take insulation and heat preservation measures, such as installing sunshades and insulation covers.

    4. High Cost
    ● Problem Manifestation: Frequent purchases of disposable mixing nozzles incur high costs, and the cleaning and maintenance of reusable mixing nozzles are time-consuming and laborious, leading to an overall increase in costs.
    ● Reasons:
    a. The project has a large demand for mixing nozzles, resulting in a high consumption of disposable products.
    b. There is a lack of efficient cleaning processes and tools, and the incomplete cleaning of reusable mixing nozzles affects their next use.
    ● Solutions:
    a. Evaluate the project requirements and purchase disposable mixing nozzles in bulk to reduce the unit price. For reusable mixing nozzles, design a standardized cleaning process and equip special brushes, solvent spray guns, and other cleaning tools to improve cleaning efficiency and effectiveness and extend their service life.
